The investigation into the deviant behaviour of Conservative MP for Aberdeen South will not go ahead after all. It is believed that the person who made the complaint, an SNP researcher was not directly involved and merely witnessed, therefore the Westminster Standards Commissioner dismissed the complaint.
It is alleged that Thomson, MP for Aberdeen South had arrived in Strangers’ Bar, intoxicated and began sexually touching three men, and was witnessed by several people who were said to be horrified. Thomson has denied any wrongdoing but has been keeping a low profile. He is not yet in the clear however, as he still faces A Party Investigation into the incident. This may be the least of Thomson’s worries as constituents have made their feelings very clear as a banner calling for his resignation has appeared outside his constituency office and on a bridge.
